President Trump plans to seize TikTok from its Chinese owner, Bloomberg reports
President Donald Trump intends to sign an order directing the Board to sell its US-owned TikTok video-sharing program. according to: Bloomberg. The order, which could be announced Friday afternoon, will be presented to the US Foreign Investment Board (CFIUS) to force the temptation to slow down, as it did last year against Grindr against Chinese investors.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced earlier this month Fox News that the Trump administration was “certainly looking” at the banned TikTok in the country, pausing to explain how it intended to do so.
