The 2020 iPhones will not have an electric adapter or headphones, says Kuo

This year’s new iPhones may not be as big as they used to be. According to well-connected analyst Ming-chi Kuo, Apple plans to stop including the electronic adapter և EarPods in the 2020 model box, and even by the end of this year will remove the electric adapter from the iPhone’s new SE packaging. This was reported by Kuo’s research note AppleInsider:, MacRumors:, և: 9to5Mac:.

According to Kuo, Apple is trying to compensate for the rise in prices, which come with the iPhone 5G upgrade. Smaller packaging would be more environmentally friendly, as it would reduce shipping costs as more phones could fit in one shipment. (Encouraging more AirPods sales can’t hurt either 🙂

At the moment, Apple includes EarPods with all iPhones, 5W USB-A adapter with 11 և SE, and 18W USB-C adapter with 11 Pro և 11 Pro Max. Last year, the inclusion of an 18W charger spread the word for years about slower 5W adapters, so it would be surprising that it quickly disappeared. However, it is not clear whether this will be the case with the entire iPhone line.

Separately, it is said that Apple is developing a new 20W fast charger, which will come with the new iPad models. Kuo believes that at some point this year will come a 10.8-inch iPad, 821-inch iPad mini for the first half of 2021. These iPads will likely come with a new 20W charger, which will otherwise be available as a separate purchase. For iPhone owners.
