2022 WWE WrestleMania Backlash goes down Sunday night in Providence, Rhode Island, with plenty of bad blood creating an intriguing card. WWE begins a new cycle towards its next marquee event with a card that features some of the company’s most popular superstars.

WrestleMania Backlash, appropriately, shares a lot of its DNA with last month’s WrestleMania 38. Four rematches from April’s card are set for Sunday night: Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey, Seth Rollins vs. Cody Rhodes, AJ Styles vs. Edge and Bobby Lashley vs. Omos. The SmackDown women’s championship match has the additional wrinkle of being contested as an “I Quit” match between the two submission specialists.

There are a number of new matchups also on the books. The red-hot rivalry between Raw tag team champions RK-Bro and SmackDown tag team champions The Usos has evolved into a six-man tag team match including Drew McIntyre and undisputed champion Roman Reigns. The Bloodline collides with McIntyre, Randy Orton and Riddle in a feud that will likely boil over into the coming months. Notably, only one title fight has been announced.

WWE WrestleMania Backlash will be presented live Sunday night from Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence. It will begin at 8 pm ET with a kickoff show starting one hour earlier at 7 pm on Peacock. CBS Sports will be with you the whole way through the event, providing updates and highlights as the action goes down in the live blog below.
