Nina Sarlo finished 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one walk to power fifth-seeded Bergen Tech to a 15-0 record as it defeated 28th-seeded Ridgefield 17-0 in the round of 32 of the BCWCA County Tournament in Hackensack.
Bergen Tech took control early as it exploded for 13 runs in the first two innings. Riley Sobel also went 2-for-4 with a trio of RBI and one run while Kalyna Figol finished 2-for-3 with two RBI and three runs. Trinity Hansen tallied an RBI as well.
Ridgefield fell to 6-5 with the loss.
Bergen Tech will face 12th-seeded Glen Rock in the round of 16 next Saturday.
