Signal is a great team card game to play and is super fun. It’s not easy to get tired of this game because it’s so fun to play. You play with a regular deck of 52 cards. Can be played with 4 or more people. The object of the game is to get four of a kind and then signal to your partner that you have it.
To begin with, all partners need to be facing each other. Before you start playing, each team should go into a separate room to make a signal when they have four types. Some examples might be waking up, smiling, eyelashes, scratching your nose, licking your lips or anything else that would not immediately detract from the other teams. All signals must be above the board.
The dealer then handles four cards to each player and grabs the rest of the deck. When everyone is ready, the dealer starts picking up one card at a time and passing it to the rest of the players in a clockwise order. If a player wants the card that has been passed to them then they can replace it with another card. Once a player has four types, he will need to use his signal to show his partner that he has four types. If a player sees his partner giving the signal then he needs to shout “signal!” If their partner has four of that kind then that team wins, if they don’t, that team loses.
If a player from another team notices another player giving a signal, they can shout “signal” and point out who they are calling. If that team has four types then the team that called it out wins, if they don’t have it then the corresponding team wins. If the dealer runs out of cards before any team wins, then they can pick up the thrown pile and start over. Rotate dealers clockwise.
This game can go on for hours. Spice it up by rotating partners or coming up with new signal ideas. It’s always fun to offer an anti-fool signal that you can use repeatedly with the same partner.
