LUBBOCK, Texas – Texas Tech Junior Isaac Arevalo cracked the ITA rankings for the first time in his career Wednesday.
A native of Mazatlán, Mexico, Arevalo is 9-3 overall this season playing as Tech’s No. 1 player. Arevalo is unbeaten since Feb. 15, a span of eight matches.
Arevalo’s Red Raider team also was ranked Wednesday, as Tech checked in a No. 42 in this week’s ITA rankings.
Winners of seven of their last eight matches, the Red Raiders face a stiff road test on Friday when they head to Murfreesboro to face No. 22 Middle Tennessee. The Blue Raiders have won 14 straight matches and are 20-3 overall.
